Vipa Solar (OPC) Private Limited was incorporated in September 2021. Since then we have installed rooftop solar on more than 350 Lucknow homes and delivered institutional plants up to 800 kW.
Lucknow has no shortage of people who will take an advance for a solar system and disappear. It has rather fewer who will still answer the phone in year three, when a panel needs cleaning or an inverter throws a fault.
We built Vipa Solar to be the second kind. That means a registered company rather than a trading name, an office you can visit rather than a phone number, our own technicians rather than sub-contracted labour, and payment tied to work actually completed rather than collected up front.
It is a slower way to grow. It is also why we are still here five years later, with a 5.0 out of 5 rating on the Government’s own PM Surya Ghar portal.

We engineer, procure and construct complete solar plants — residential, commercial and industrial — and we service what we install.
Most work is on-grid. Where there is no dependable supply, we design and build off-grid and hybrid systems as complete projects.
We do not sell loose panels, batteries or inverters. If you want to buy components over a counter, we are not the right people.
It is credited by the Government straight to your bank account. We file the paperwork and chase it. We never receive or hold it.
Residential: Lucknow city and the districts next to it — only sites our own team can survey, install and return to service.
Commercial and industrial: across Uttar Pradesh, Uttarakhand and Delhi. We have delivered in Lucknow, Kanpur, Prayagraj and Datia in Madhya Pradesh.
Central subsidy ends in
The PM Surya Ghar central subsidy — up to ₹1,08,000 with the UP top-up — is available for a limited period. The scheme closes 31 March 2027, or once one crore rooftops are installed nationally.
