A standard on-grid system shuts down during a cut, which is required by law for the safety of line workers. If your area has frequent cuts and you want backup, a hybrid system with batteries is needed. It costs more and pays back more slowly, and we will tell you so.

No. PM Surya Ghar is for residential rooftops only. A commercial or institutional plant makes its case on tariff savings, a three to four year payback, and 40% accelerated depreciation in the first year.

In four stages: 10% advance, 60% on delivery of material to your site, 20% on completion of work, and 10% after net metering is done. You never pay a large sum for work that has not happened. Bank finance is also available.
